Full Day Excursion Exploring the Resettled Islands of Northern Bonavista Bay. Departing Hare Bay, we head out the bay and back in time. As we travel along one of the most stunning coastlines you will ever see, keep your eyes peeled for encounters with the amazing marine life that abound here. You will explore Bragg’s Island, Fair Island, Silver Fox Island and the beaches Archaeological site. Once thriving communities stood here for generations and while the soil is thin the roots are deep as your guides can trace their family history back hundreds of years on these islands. Listen as your guides share their stories of family and place. Where once they stood you now stand and it will be an experience that will stay with you forever.
